SB 60 (Senators Jackson, Fort, Lucas, and Ramsey - D)

Amends O.C.G.A. § 20-2-690.1 to change the compulsary attendance age from current ages 6 through 16 to ages 6 through 17 1/2.

Amends O.C.G.A. § 20-4-15 to change the age of eligiblilty for Adult Literacy Programs from age 16 to age 17 1/2.

Amends O.C.G.A. § 20-4-18 relating to the control of Adult Literacy Programs to specify such programs apply to students beginning at age 17 1/2 instead of age 16.
